Gifted Children: The Blessing and The Challenge with Chana Ruderman, PhD

Chana Ruderman, PhD has been Principal of Torah Day School of Dallas for 19 years. She earned her doctorate at the University of Chicago and began her career at the college level, writing a book on Jane Austen and teaching courses at Colgate University and Cornell University. She then taught high school for a couple of years before focusing on K-8 education. A few years after Torah Day School opened, various experiences with gifted children led Dr. Ruderman to complete a master's degree in education with a focus on special education, and in particular gifted and talented education.
