Silver North Resources CEO Jason Weber joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company has announced the beginning of its 2024 drilling campaign at the Haldane Property, located in the historic Keno Hill Silver District in the Yukon.
Weber shared that the program will consist of approximately 1,000 meters of drilling across three key holes on the 8,579-hectare property, which lies 25 km west of Keno City and hosts multiple occurrences of silver-lead-zinc-bearing quartz siderite veins, similar to those found throughout the district.
He moved on to highlight that the drilling will focus on expanding high-grade silver mineralization at the West Fault, Main Fault, and Bighorn areas.
At the West Fault, previous drilling intersected notable results, including 3.14 meters averaging 1,351 g/t silver, 2.43% lead, and 2.91% zinc. The West Fault structure has been traced over 650 meters and is believed to extend up to 1.1km, merging with the 2.2km long main fault structure.
The drilling program will also target silver-bearing vein mineralization identified in the Bighorn Target's only drilled hole to date, with hopes of expanding on these promising early results.
