Jenn and Joe continue our coverage of Dahmer inspired films with David Jacobson’s contemplative and surprisingly bloodless film Dahmer (2002).
Anchored at the height of Dahmer’s killing spree, Jacobson lays the story out with a series of flashbacks while taking narrative liberties with the Wisconsin man’s first and final murders.
Plus: early aughts storytelling, Jeremy Renner’s disturbing performance, and the choice to change the names of the real life victims and little else.
