It is Monday on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show Podcast. In this episode, the RSMS crew discusses Janet Jackson coming under fire for comments she made about VP Kamala Harris. When asked about VP Kamala Harris being the first black female president, Jackson said that Harris is not black, but she is Indian. When Jackson was corrected that her dad is a black Jamaican man, Jackson said she heard that her dad was white. Now Janet Jackson has come out and apologized and said she was a victim of misinformation.  

Tia Mowry has a new television docuseries called, Tia Mowry: My Next Act. On the docuseries she is talking about her being divorced, and she disclosed that it was tough getting through the divorce without her sister, Tamera. Tia said that she and her sister are not on the best speaking terms right now and how she wished things were different. Also, singer and songwriter Robin Thicke joins the RSMS crew. Thicke is discussing his new album, which is coming out in February, and his new single. Thicke is also speaking about his fatherhood and his four children.
