Liverpool cruised into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup as they thrashed West Ham 5-1 at Anfield.

Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo's braces and a Mohamed Salah strike ensured the Reds easily bounced back from conceding an early Jarell Quansah own goal.

And reporter David Lynch was there to see Arne Slot's men set up a meeting with Brighton and Hove Albion in the next round.

He was impressed by the performances of Cody Gakpo and Diogo Jota, while Wataru Endo receives credit after coming in from the cold.
