Orlaith is originally from Ireland and shares why She loves working and living in Australia now. Seeking adventure Orlaith went there as a backpacker and loves the lifestyle and opportunities.
She now works a lot with the Irish in Australia through the many transitions we all experience in life.
We chat about what Grief and Loss means and that it is not just about the physical loss of our loved ones, but also the loss of relationships, loss of identify, children leaving home and living in a different way after the loss of anything or anyone in your life.

As a trained Family Systems Therapist and Specialist in Grief, Fertility and Perinatal work, Orlaith supports individuals, couples and families. Her career spans across a variety of settings such as Not for Profit, private practice, education, corporate, and with fertility clinics. Orlaith has extensive experience in grief, loss, and trauma having worked in Post Adoption, grieving sudden unexpected death in babies and children, stillbirth, pregnancy loss, termination and neonatal death. Orlaith provides support in perinatal period, and the adjustment to parenthood. Orlaith has a strong academic and clinical background, is an experienced educator, teaching for many years in the field of counselling.
