Rob McConnell Interviews - BECKY McKIDDY-GYDESEN - Tucson Ghost Company

Becky McKiddy-Gydesen was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio where she lived in a haunted house with her mother, grandparents, and aunt. She was always very aware that there was “more out there” and respectful towards it. Later, as an adult, she lived in a haunted apartment. She was curious about what she had been experiencing from a young age, but was told these things weren't to be talked about. One day, as she was flipping channels, she came across the show Ghost Hunters. Here was a group of people searching for the answers she also wanted to find. She became an instant fan of the show. From there, everything seemed to fall into her lap. Becky bought the Tucson Ghost Tour rights in 2013 and was able to start the Tucson Ghost Company which does a walking tour, 3 different ghost hunts, and special events. She was also able to form the non-profit investigational team, Tucson Ghost Society. She’s been featured in 5 different books, several news programs, magazines, and once on national television.

Becky's passion has always been to bring Tucson's haunted history to light. Outside of the paranormal, her interests include Disney (which she is a travel agent specializing in Disney), animals, and spending time with her children and husband.
