It’s Q&A time once again. I’ve selected a few questions for John and I to address, so let’s get to it.

Bob Bowse wants to know why Trump is polling so well among black voters.

Following up on my conversation with Shermichael Singleton, BB wants to know why HBCUs appear to be much more tolerant of diversity-of-thought than Ivies and other elite colleges.

0rganiker wants our view on how Dartmouth uses SAT scores in their admissions process.

Patrick argues that we should strive for a colorblind society not because we can ever truly attain one but because we can get closer to one than we are now. It’s a noble sentiment with which I have much sympathy, but I worry about the fetishization of colorblindness.

Jon asks if we think, as he does, that Trump’s fraud trial is ultimately baseless and constitutes “election interference.” John and I have disagreed on Trump in the past, and we do so again here.

Will Keys accuses me of caving to African American cultural pressure on the George Floyd issue and chides me for lacking backbone and “navel gazing.” Well, I’m not going to apologize for thinking for myself.

K.P. had a problem with the singing of the “black national anthem” before the national national anthem at the Super Bowl. He asks us to weigh in.
