Slater Crusader: Same Window, Different View

Mike Slater toured the San Diego Rescue Mission, and while on the floor with transitional housing for women, he noticed a big window with a beautiful view. He asked the guy giving him a tour what he thought they saw when they looked out the window. The guide said it depends on where the women are in their recovery. "So one woman may see, who's early in her recovery, she may see a plane landing and say 'I'll never have enough money to ride on it.' And another woman who's nearing the end of her recovery, may say 'I can't wait to travel the world like those people.'"
