Welcome to the first of two live versions of The Adelaide Show Podcast, as part of the Adelaide Podcast Festival.
This is NOT our usual format but that will return in episode 186.
Tonight, our guests are Alexis Cattely and Pete Ebdel from The Show on PBA-FM. And we'll be discussing the BAD Diet - a Balanced Audio Diet.
How do you get balance in your audio diet? Does it include commercial radio, community radio, the ABC, podcasts, music, or other types?
We'll also be wanting to find out what the audience thinks makes a good interview.
This week, the SA Drink Of The Week is from Coopers.
Dr Bill Griggs, Director Of Trauma at the Royal Adelaide Hospital will be back with a snippet from last week's interview that didn't fit. In it, he goes into detail about how he would re-engineer our roads for better safety outcomes.
Steve will try to stump the audience with IS IT NEWS on the topic of unusual crimes in South Australia.
Plus, we'll start a regular feature of sharing a snippet from 100 shows ago. This week, it's been 100 weeks since Sharon from Kytons Bakery joined us. We play a tasty slice.
And the Power Sprites will take us home with Fly On The Wall in the musical pilgrimage.
And please consider becoming part of our podcast by joining our Inner Circle. It's an email list. Join it and you might get an email on a Sunday or Monday seeking question ideas, guest ideas and requests for other bits of feedback about YOUR podcast, The Adelaide Show. Email us directly and we'll add you to the list: podcast@theadelaideshow.com.au
If you enjoy the show, please leave us a 5-star review in iTunes or other podcast sites, or buy some great merch from our Red Bubble store - The Adelaide Show Shop. We'd greatly appreciate it.
