Lydia Corriveau is a nurse who came to Regent College in Fall 2016 to work through questions about medicine, ethics, and suffering. Ashley Moyse also started at Regent in the fall as the post-doctoral fellow in science and theology, and has a background in biomedical ethics. We decided to get the two of them together with Claire Perini so that Lydia could ask Ashley all of her questions.
Ashley joins Regent College as part of a three-year initiative to advance conversations about the relationship of theology and science at the college and beyond, made possible by a generous grant from the John Templeton Foundation. His responsibilities will include co-teaching INDS/THEO 517: Theology & Science with Dr. Ross Hastings, overseeing student projects, publishing, planning public events in the area of theology and science, and developing online resources aimed at advancing public understanding and engagement with questions of faith and scientific inquiry.
Regent College is an innovative graduate school of theology, where vibrant evangelical faith meets rigorous academics. Find out more at www.regent-college.edu
