Perfectionism and procrastination will keep you from progress. You do not need to be perfect to make progress. In fact, you have to be willing to be imperfect – you have to be willing to fall down, to fail, in order to learn and grow. Perfectionism is a form of procrastination. Both keep you from doing what you CAN do NOW to make progress TODAY. One of my clients recently shared a mantra that I think would all benefit from keeping in mind: We train on Sunday while you wait for Monday. Stop waiting.
