On this week's episode the Horror Junkies get together to discuss body horror. This genre of Horror movies, is a close favorite to all of us and we could not wait to start talking about it. We start the show off by describing what body horror really means, and discuss some of our favorite movies that fall into this are of horror. In our Horror Junkies News segment, Patrick tells us about some upcoming tv shows being released soon. Spike Tv is giving us it's version of Stephan King's The Mist and Netflix, the show giant, is giving us an Addams Family show. Two shows the Horror Junkies are can't wait to sink their teeth into. Today in Horror History, we found out that there was a 1979 Horror release titled Nosferatu the Vampyre directed by Werner Herzog, surprising enough, this movie has an 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. Also released was the 1940 Black Friday, directed by Arthur Lubin, and start Boris Karloff. In our Versus segment we pitted The Thing (1982) against Grant (Slither) in probably the grossest sounding fight you can imagine. We won't go any further in saying who we thought would win, your just going to have to listen and find out. As usual, we love hearing from our listeners and if you have anything that you would love to add to our show, feel free to email us at info@horrorjunkiespodcast.com.
