Created for a 1984 Chautauqua, Mr. Jenkinson's Thomas Jefferson has appeared at legislatures, judicial conferences, and colleges and universities in over 30 states. In 1989, Jenkinson was awarded the National Endowment for the Humanities' Charles Frankel Prize for exemplary work in the public humanities.
