This week I bring you an interview with former Olympian and University of Texas softball coach Jennifer McFalls.
Jennifer was eight when she first started playing softball and tried just about every position. Jennifer comes from a strong softball family and they really inspired her to play. Jennifer played just about every sport other than softball throughout most of her high school years. Jennifer didn’t really focus on softball until about her junior year and played travel ball.
Jennifer was scouted by the Texas A&M coach during her sophomore year which then put the drive in her that fastpitch softball would be the avenue for her career. When she was a junior in college her coach prompted her to try out for the USA Olympic team and was an alternate for the 96 Olympic team and then played on the 2000 USA Olympic softball team.
You won’t want to miss this interview with one of fastpitch softball’s outstanding player/coach!
