John Badham, director of such great movies as Saturday Night Fever and War Games, shares important insights about the actor/director relationship. He also reveals fascinating behind-the-scenes information concerning some of the stars he’s worked with, including Goldie Hawn, Mel Gibson, John Travolta and Kevin Costner. Two of Badham’s movies -- Blue Thunder and War Games -- received four Academy Award nominations in 1983. Plus, his TV work earned two 1973 Emmy nominations -- one for The Senator and the other for The Law. This talented filmmaker’s second book, John Badham On Directing, is scheduled for release in September.
