Season 2, Episode 26: The Living Full Out Show with Nancy Solari understands that exercising caution is crucial to protecting ourselves and others from making bad choices. By being cautious we can prevent ourselves from rushing into things when the timing is wrong, or the situation does not merit it. But while caution is a necessary tool, it is also important to allow ourselves to take a risk now and then in order to expand our horizons and maximize our potential.
Our first caller, Barbara, is trying to find a way to make her resume stand out to potential employers. Listen in to hear how Nancy encourages Barbara to couple her resume with a personalized cover letter that will allow her to shine amongst the competition and show her professionalism and dedication to her work.
The second caller, Desiree, is struggling to find the courage to say no to the requests of others. Hear how Nancy helps Desiree recognize that people will not look at her differently if she does say no and that if she is truly concerned about what others will feel about her response she should simply ask them.
Our inspirational guest today is John Trautwein. John and his wife Suzie lost their 15-year-old son, Will, to suicide when he was just a freshman in high school. Listen in as John recounts the day he found his son and how he was able to find the strength to move forward by creating The Will to Live Foundation dedicated to raising awareness and prevention for teen suicide.
The last caller, Elizabeth, is finding it difficult to get along with her sister-in-law. Listen as Nancy explains that each person has their own personality and that the best way for Elizabeth to handle her sister-in-law is to support her husband in whatever way he chooses to approach the situation.
Being cautious means taking the necessary steps each and every day to understand the consequences of our actions. Even so, it is important to measure our caution so that we still allow ourselves to try new things and continue to live our lives full out.
