The show notes are as follows:
My new Paperback Rocker app is available on Amazon. It has all my shows and extra bonus stuff, including the OPM Den Sessions.
On this episode, I talk about smoking meat, Texas-style. Then I talk about the last Texxas Jam at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, which was also the Monsters of Rock show with Dokken, Metallica, Van Halen and others. I apologize for saying 'ya know' so much on the last episode, because I was hopped up on the bean.
I talk about the Australian town where David Bowie's "Let's Dance" video was shot, which is going bankrupt and needs the Thin White Duke to rescue them. I talk about Stevie Ray Vaughan, too.
Next, I discuss the lengths to which some self-published authors will go to in order to sell books, including faking that they have been bullied online. They also spam everybody in forums and other places. Mainly they try to sell to other authors, which I think is STUPID. Bands don't try to sell their CD's to other bands very much, so why do authors do it?
Finally, I talk about expectations for success and how each individual needs to define them. If you have high expectations, you are setting yourself up for disappointment.
Thanks for listening. There will be a bonus OPM Den Session coming with this, so get the Android App on the Amazon App Store!
