Corals, Reefs and Virtual Reality (en)

Hauke Reuter Coral reefs belong to the most beautiful and productive ecosystems in the world. However, they are intensively exploited and heavily threatened through climate change and other stress impacts. The presentation shows how through the use of virtual reality reefs can be analysed and potential developments under different environmental impacts and use scenarios can be explored. A virtual reality application of coral reefs is presented which allows to dive into these ecosystems and explore their beauty.
