On Episode 32, Minh and Castle discuss new research into how the communication landscape is changing for where people acquire weather forecast information. Previous studies have shown that local television was the dominant source, but with more and more people turning to smartphones, a new study highlights the use of smartphone apps among the younger generation. Also, with the recent Fourth of July holiday, some municipalities in the country decided to go on with their firework displays, even with extremely dry conditions. We discuss that and how fireworks affect air quality. And of course, we have our songs of the week and highlight new causes for our "Giving Back" campaign.
