I may be away on holiday this week, but that hasn't stopped me working to bring you a special Geektown Radio podcast, featuring the brilliant actor, Peter Mensah, talking about his new show 'Midnight, Texas'.
Peter has been a familiar face on TV and film for a number of years. His impressive list of film credits include 'The Incredible Hulk', '300' and 'Avatar', but he has also featured in some stand out TV performances. On 'Spartacus' he played Doctore/Oenomaus, he appeared in 'True Blood' as Kibwe, and most recently starred in 'Sleepy Hollow' as The Hidden One. Now he returns to our screens in 'Midnight, Texas', which airs on Syfy UK from Thursday, 27th July 2017 at 9pm.
Based on the novel series by True Blood's Charlaine Harris, 'Midnight, Texas' stars François Arnaud ('The Borgias') as Manfred, a charming, powerful psychic who can communicate with spirits and finds safety in the small town of Midnight, Texas. There he finds himself surrounding with both human and supernatural allies, who band together to fight off outside pressures from ever-suspicious cops, deadly biker gangs, and their own dangerous pasts. Peter plays the role of Lemuel, a wise vampire with a long history in the town.
