Once again, we return for another week of chat about tv shows, films and UK tv air date updates, as Ross joins me for episode 126 of Geektown Radio. This week's guest is the composer of Amazon's excellent series ‘The Man in the High Castle’, which see's Nazi's taking over America... Like that would ever happen...
British-born composer Dominic Lewis has been working in the US since 2009, and is based at Hans Zimmer’s Remote Control studios in LA. He first started working with film composer John Powell, which led him to him creating additional music on various films including the 2011 Oscar Nominated ‘How to Train your Dragon’. Since then he’s gone on to provide additional music for films such as ‘Kingsman: The Secret Service’, ‘X-Men: First Class’, ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’, ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’, and ‘Big Hero 6’.
As a composer in his own right, he created the soundtrack to the animated feature ‘Free Birds’, ‘Spooks: The Greater Good’, and is currently working on the 3rd season of Amazon’s brilliant ‘The Man in the High Castle’. Since we conducted this interview, it’s been announced he is providing the score to the much-anticipated revival of Disney’s classic ‘DuckTales’.
