On last week's episode, we talked with our good friends, Steve and Julia Patterson, where they shared how they figured out their travel style while on their first backpacking trip, and it inspired us to dig deeper into this topic. You often see and hear on the media about how you should go backpacking and how you should want to quite your job to travel the world (heck, we've said it!), and while we've found that experience hugely beneficial to our lives, we've also discovered that that's not how we prefer to travel anymore. On this episode, we share how our preferred travel style has changed; how we went from bouncing around from city to city every couple of days back in 2011, to spending a week or so in one place in 2014, to spending months in the same city on this past trip. We discuss how we found a travel that suits our lifestyle now and how you can also find a travel style that makes you happiest, because at the end of the day, whatever we do should be making us happy. Enjoy! You can also check out our new travel community on Facebook where you can ask questions, get travel recommendations, and find community members in your area!
