Now working with his son John (pictured above), Kilbeggan only use the oats sourced from only their own farm and on todays show today Peter and Pat chat how to make the perfect bowl of porridge, treating your soil like your fifth child when growing organically and how instinctively knowing how and when to harvest by appearance and touch from an ear of corn.
We also chat crop rotation, farmyard manure and a biscuit range that is his wifes recipe. What a story. An absolute gentleman and another whopper of a sodshow.
