On the occasion of his 80th birthday, HIS HOLINESS THE DALAI LAMA invited his dear friend, ARCHBISHOP DESMOND TUTU, to Dharamsala, where he lives in exile. For one historic week, the two men spoke candidly to each other about their lives, their philosophies, the state of the world, and of the inherently human trait we call JOY.
Last year - these conversations became "THE BOOK OF JOY" written by the two men along with DOUGLAS ABRAMS. Abrams moderated the conversation and in the book, he walks the reader through the conversations between them - the private moments they shared throughout the week, and the history and science both men reference in their explanations of what joy means to them!
This year - "THE BOOK OF JOY - JOURNAL" gives us a way to plot our own paths to joy!
Douglas Abrams, who moderated the conversation between The Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu talks with Mark Alyn about the meaning of joy!
