**Homeschool Science Tip - Use a lapbook to review what you have studied in science!**
Lapbooks are a sort of education scrapbooks that fit in the comfort of your lap.
A lapbook usually contains a collection of related mini-books on a certain subject. These mini books will have a picture of the subject with the information your student has learned conveniently located inside the mini-book. Each of these is then glued into a file folder for easy viewing.
Lapbooks are perfect to use as a notebooking-style record for younger students or for reviewing what you have studied!
We have used lapbooks many a time in our homeschool, mostly as review once we have finished studying a certain subject. We have done this in two different ways:
1. We have taken a day or two to do a lapbook at the end of a unit.
2. And, we have done a related mini-book each week as part of our Friday Fun Day.
Either way, we have enjoyed adding lapbooks to review what we have studied in science!
