The question is when we our leading a normal life, how do we bring a meaning to me. How do we make it purposeful? Sometimes, it feels that this life does have a meaning. It is a pure and divine life and sometimes it seems meaningless. As if we are not doing anything. So what should we do? In reality, this is not related to our life. No matter how great your life is, once in a while you will feel that you are living a meaningless life. Once Swami Vivekananda was talking to a disciple who was also a renunciate (sannyasi). He said that you are living a life of a renunciate and it is possible that one day you will have this thought that maybe I had a family, maybe I would have led a comfortable life, maybe I had a home and someone cooked for me. But, at that time you must remember that a householder at that point of time is also thinking that maybe he was a renunciate. Maybe, he would have been alone, free from any responsibility or burden and led a comfortable life.
Whether you have taken upon an ochre robe or you are in plain clothes. Whether you have long hair or you have shaved your head, it does not matter because the primary purpose of a human life is to satisfy his hunger.
