We’re back! After a brief hiatus for travel and work, we’re back with Episode 8 of Horrorfied! This week, Justin takes Ian and Xack on a journey through the cold, frozen, cataclysmic abyss that is Black Metal.
After coming across several requests for an episode on Black Metal and how it ties into horror and the occult, Justin couldn’t help but dive into the deep, dark void headfirst – and he’s taking all of us with him.
Tune in to hear Justin, Ian, and Producer Xack (AKA Fog Summoner, Moon Frost, and Producer Hell Spawn) discuss the phenomenal documentary “Until the Light Takes Us” which discusses the history of Norwegian death metal and focuses on everything from the music to the real-life horrors that several of these musicians became involved in. From suicide, to murder, to Cathedral burning; these guys did it all and made some crazy music to boot.
As always, subscribe to us on iTunes and give us some review-love, find us on Twitter @horrorfiedpod, Facebook at Horrorfied Podcast and feel free to email us at horrorfiedpodcast@gmail.com.
Enjoy the show and thank you for listening.
Be sure to check back next week, when we talk about Wes Craven’s “Scream” franchise and celebrate it’s 20th anniversary in the only way we know how: by making fun of it and tearing it to bits.
