The elation of the would-be touchdown pass to Jesse James, followed the hope that even though we didn't score on that play, we still had time and downs to at least come away with a field goal to tie the game, was brought to gut-wrenching finality in that last, intercepted pass. The Steelers drop a heartbreaker to the Patriots 27 to 24.
This is one of the most hyped Steelers’ regular season games in recent memory. It was a brilliant, back and forth game with the Steelers leading the entire time until the Patriots scored with 1:00 remaining capitalizing on a drive the features 3 passes to Rob Gronkowski that totaled 69 yards.
In a would-be miracle comeback, JuJu responded with his own reception, weaving for 69 yards down to the Patriot 10 yard line, only to be foiled by the negation of Jesse James' TD reception and ultimately the interception of Ben's pass to Eli Rogers.
