Why is deception such a common part of real estate?
We have talked a number of times about the casual deceptions that crop up in real estate. It seems like it is infused into the fabric of the real estate business... like small pox infected blankets. They are nice and warm at the start and make you feel secure only to be the thing that results in your undoing in the end. Sadly, it is everywhere. The system is built on it and separating it seems nearly impossible at times. I was recently looking into different contact management software for managing folks who respond to my marketing. Included in most is some sort of autoresponding drip campaign setup. Nearly all of them come with default responses and they all have elements that embrace this idea of the casual deception being OK.
