Horrorfied Episode 35 - "Plan 9 from Outer Space or; "Who's Plan is it Anyway?!""

H'what's up, Creeps?!" This week's episode has been a long time coming. After 34 episodes of ridiculous bits, blatant pandering, and other assorted garbage we're taking our allegedly unique brand of movie reviewing and putting that spin on the 1959 Ed Wood classic, PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE. Telling the story of aliens that want to make zombies for some reason (and Vampira is there), PLAN 9 has become widely known as one of the finest pieces of trash/cheese cinema ever produced. Becoming a hit on the midnight movie and Svengoolie-type TV circuits PLAN 9 is highly regarded for it's complete lack of skill or direction. As always, we try our best to disassemble this absurdly incoherent plot (with itemized bullet points) to try to make some sense out of the whole goddamn nightmare. Including a detailed description of what Plans 1 through 8 were, we take time to appreciate this genuinely awful and absurd film for what it really is: wonderful. We wrap up our show this week discussing the 1959 Papua New Guinea UFO sightings which have gone on record to become one of the most intriguing UFO sightings ever reported. All that plus all the cheesy garbage you can handle on this schlocky, incoherent, sort-of starring Bela Legosi episode of The Horrorfied Podcast. Eeeeeeenjoy!
