H'what's up, Creeps?! This week, we take full advantage of the warm summer heat and we head to Camp! We're kicking back for some fun in the sun. Outdoor cookouts, sleeping in tents, roasting marshmallows and making s'mores, fingerblasting the cutie from the beach volleyball game, and getting straight up murdered by an unknown assailant. What could be better? Join us this week as we talk about the oft forgotten summer camp slasher classic, Sleepaway Camp! Despite being one of the more lucrative slasher films of the 1980's, Sleepaway Camp is more often than not overlooked when discussing films that have been deemed "influential" to the horror genre. Probably because it's ridiculous and kind of terrible despite its' bizarre "twist ending." Regardless, it remains one of our favorites in the genre and firmly holds its' place as a summer horror classic. As always, we'll discuss the plot of this bizarre slasher nightmare, and explore some of the odd choices made throughout this landmark film.
