Blended Families & The Holidays - PWHFT Ep152

If there was ever a Holiday reality, how to deal with the Holidays with a blended family is among the realest. It can be dramatic, it can be stressful, it can be hateful even. The good news is that it doesn't have to be that way. Blended families are tough and many times families fall apart and leave a trail of hurt and resentment in the wake. How do you NOT bring that into the holidays??? Well the bottom line is that you can only control YOU! The Bible says "Blessed are the peacemakers"! That is so much easier said than done but the as the old saying goes, you can catch more bees with honey... If you choose peace and you choose love above everything else your holiday can be a great experience. We have to choose to lay aside our own selfishness for the sake of our children. When we choose to live by the biblical principles of peace and love, God will bless that! God is not a man that he should lie and His promises endure!!
