Geektown Radio 150: 'Dinotrux' Composer Jake Monaco, UK TV News & UK TV Air Dates!
We are back with a brand new Geektown Radio podcast, full of all the latest tv new and UK TV premiere info, and we have a great one for the kids amongst you too (or those of you with small children.) This week's interview is with composer Jake Monaco, who has worked on 'Frozen', 'The Muppets' and is currently the man behind the music for Netflix's 'Dinotrux', Amazon’s 'The Stinky & Dirty Show' and Warner Bros. Animation’s 'Be Cool Scooby Doo'.
Jake's musical fingerprints can be found on some of the biggest film scores of the past decade. As a producer and composer of additional music for Christophe Beck, he contributed to the animated magic of 'Frozen', the record-breaking laughs of 'The Hangover' trilogy, and the fuzzy hijinks of 'The Muppets'. As a versatile composer in his own right, Monaco has composed the score to films such as 'Playing It Cool' starring Chris Evans and Michelle Monaghan and co-scored the Fox action/comedy 'Let’s Be Cops'.
However, his main gigs over the past few years have been working on various animated series. He scores Netflix series ‘Dinotrux’, ‘The Stinky & Dirty Show’ for Amazon, and Warner Bros. Animation’s 'Be Cool Scooby Doo'.
