854 Move from Me to We

When we say, "I do", we forget that it's really "We do!". Marriage is a time to move from me to we.

However, do we ever leave the me behind; loving sacrificially and unconditionally?

Marriage is a two-way street. Each partner must do their part. It's not about keeping score if you want to move from me to we.

So how can you begin to make the shift to move from me to we?

Make it a priority.

You get out of your marriage what you put into it.

Reconnect like you did while dating.

Make a list of your spouse's interests/hobbies. Pick ONE that is the most realistic interest to get involved together. Let the learning and the sharing multiply.

You gotta stop going through the motions. Invest in your marriage one shareable moment at a time.
