Susan Pollock is a saint in the Lord who has survived her husband, Bryan Pollock*, who planted Pilgrim Bible Church in Washington in 1999 (http://www.pilgrimbible.org/sof.shtml). She homeschools 9 beautiful children, and she ministers to other widows in the local church as well facilitates bible studies for young, married women. One interesting fact about Susan is that she is a natural descendant of the Pilgrims, John Alden & Priscilla Mullins. Yes, the ones that travelled to Plymouth, Massachusetts.
Susan enjoys traveling, fellowshipping with Christians, and spending time with her children. But she also has a desire for serving the local church and ministering to widows. This is truly one of many unpopular ministries within the western church, and some within the body may not be aware of the need. Thankfully, Susan has had the blessing to be supported and taken care by her local church, but we seek to interview her in the hopes of learning from her about how to biblically approach the subject of widows

Bryan Pollock was a graduate of Western Conservative Baptist Seminary in Portland, Oregon where earned a Master of Divinity in 1987. After a year-long internship in Canada, he began his first pastorate at Bethesda Baptist Church in Tacoma, Washington. After a more than ten-year-long ministry, during which time the Holy Spirit began stirring Bryan in Reformed directions, he was called away from Bethesda to begin a new work, Pilgrim Bible Church, in 1999. In November of 2009, after a battle with colon cancer, the Lord took Bryan home to be with Him.
