This week I’m joined by Dorcas Shola Fapson. Dorcas studied Criminology at university but wanted to pursue her passion for acting. She was granted a scholarship to American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York. Dorcas is best known for her role as Sophie in season 3 of MTV’s Shuga. She also hosted Ndani TV’s- The Juice and she appeared in Banana Island Ghost, and My Wife and I. Dorcas has racked up an incredible 217,000 followers on Instagram so we talk about the pitfalls of social media, how you can live more authentically online and if she’s been typecast. We also discuss how you can use monologues and Instagram to attract casting directors.
