This week on the Horror Junkies Podcast, Patrick and Mike yell about the god awful movies they had to watch. This month has felt like a bad horror movie, it was too long and you couldn't believe it was still going, but when you get to the end it's like reaching Hell and there's popcorn.
Our show teamed up with Shudder, a Horror movie subscription site that brings screams on demand. If you head over to www.Shudder.com and use the promo code JUNKIES, you will get a full free 30 day trial on their site. Currently they have Stephen King's It and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, not to mention a whole bunch of creature features. So head over the site, sign up, and claim that free month of screams.
We always try to bring you the latest news in the Horror community and this week, we had a few stories that we found interesting enough to talk about. One of the more interesting news that caught our attention was that Todd McFlarlane has officially announced that Jamie Foxx will be playing Spawn in his upcoming movie. Pat and Mike both love spawn, from the comics, movies to the action figures and to see this movie get brought back to life in a time with better effects is going to be awesome. Todd is also shooting for a hard R rating for his new Spawn movie.
Welcome to week 5, the forgotten week. A week filled with bad horror movies and one movie that Pat and Mike love so much. We wanted to give a shout out to two podcasts we really enjoy, here on the Horror Junkies Podcast. First up are is The Final Boys and then The Mortuary Both of the shows are fantastic and the host bring some much to the table. If your into movie reviews, banter, and creepy weird stuff check them out.
