Episode 163, I's Married Now, Same Sex marriage, Why all the noise?
This week on ...

with Debra D. Rainey, Esq.
I’s Married Now
Same Sex Marriage,
Why all the noise!
Surely people can't want our Constitution to be interpreted in any
way that would legally permit any Americans, who are guaranteed
Due Process of and Equal Protection under our laws to be
denied the basic right to commit to that person they love!
Why all the noise about Same Sex marriage? The truncated FTP Fam
was joined by Niche Adderly as we dissected the US Supreme Court’s
decision that prohibited all the 50 States from banning same sex couples
from obtaining a marriage license. A few listeners called in with
their points of view. One thing is certain the right of same sex couples
to be legally married is no more paramount than folks’ religious
beliefs for or against same sex marriage,
they are different and mutually exclusive.
