At the start of the 2016 Feast of Passover and Unleavened Bread, hosted by MTOI, Rabbi Steve Berkson brings a refreshing perspective on the Exodus of the Hebrews from Egypt. Trying to get into the minds of those ancient people having been in slavery and oppression for many years, Rabbi Steve asks the questions that they may have asked when Mosheh arrived on the scene with a message from their Elohim, the Creator of All, that they were about to be set free and leave that place for a land that had been promised long ago to their ancestor Abraham. In this teaching Rabbi Steve focuses on the escape of the chosen people from the pursuing Egyptians by marching through the waters of the sea and how this great event is still relevant to us today as we go through the mikvah process; burying the old man and becoming a new man through the death, burial and resurrection of Messiah Yeshua.
