In 2018 teachers from six states made their voices heard. They rallied, went on strike and marched to bring attention to lack of funding, low pay, outdated education material and other unmet student needs. It started in West Virginia then spread to other states including North Carolina.
This episode's guest is Hallie Hulse Evans, a special education teacher in rural North Carolina.
