John talks about misunderstandings and what to do about repairing them. its instinctive to try and find the fault of the misunderstanding and go from there. that may wortk if the other person agrees that your idea is a good place to start. but what if the other person feels that finding fault is a diversion tactic for you to not take responsibility? See, theres no trust from them youre really about solving the problem. John says its about listening giving the other person time to share how they feel and then you can offer a way through to a better outcome for both of you.
