Meditation is a tool I use daily to help calm my mind and center my thoughts. It's my way to tune inward and seek out answers to some of my life questions. I have been actively meditating for over a year now and the one thing I will say is that I love guided meditations. When my mind is chattering all the time I need the voice of someone else to center my thoughts so I can calm down the chatter and tune into what they are saying.
This was one of the very first meditations I tried. Its a mixture of affirmations and meditation where I guide you through a phrase and you will finish it off with whatever rings true to you. Lets your imagination go wild, there is not right or wrong way to do this. I hope you find this technique valuable.
