About Kristi:
I have a PhD, and I know how to use it! I trained as a medievalist but decided academia wasn't the right fit for my skills, interests, and values. After ten years in higher education as a career counselor, I became a recruiter for the non-profit and financial service industries. I'm now the proud owner of my own coaching and consulting firm, Incipit Career, LLC, which helps PhDs and other highly-educated and highly-skilled individuals transition into new, fulfilling careers.
