De La Hoya, known as ``The Golden Boy,'' won a gold medal at the 1992 Olympics at the age of 19 and went on to win 10 world titles in six weight classes. He was one of the most popular boxers in history, generating hundreds of millions from pay-per-view events. He retired in 2009. He founded Golden Boy Promotions in 2002.
