Episode 026 - No Labels, No Limits - with Deborah Loesch Griffin, Turning Point Business Owner
Today's guest is quite inspirational - she has a goal of building community, a world that works for everyone, while maintaining the highest integrity, ethics, authenticity and respect for all. Deborah Loesch Griffin is the Founder and Owner of Turning Point, where she brings her expertise from many years of counseling, nonprofit management, youth development and cross-cultural project work.
Her interview explores the ideas behind success, authenticity, commitment and growth. "I'm a learner at heart, so my work is defined by also being a learner of what others are doing and thinking and how I can enrich that."
Deb gives us a great piece of advice, "Don't try to hold onto something that no longer fits. Ask yourself, what are my gifts, what is it that I'm good at? What am I not really good at, or not passionate about? Stop trying to adapt or find approval if it truly isn't the right situation." Be committed to ongoing growth for yourself.
How does she define success? "Success is showing up the best I can and honoring that. It's being the best I can be at any moment, being authentic in that. To be authentic for me requires a level of commitment to self reflection, self analysis, knowing who I am and that, that will change."
