RVE 153: Finding Freelance Writing Gigs from the Road
Welcome to the 2nd episode in the Side Hustle series. Today on the show, I have Kim Chappell who writes for Dine, Wine & Stein Magazine. Kim talks about finding freelance writing gigs for the first time, how to pitch proposals to clients you want to work with, and always turning over stones to find the best story.
Freelance writing provided a way for Alyssa and me to make money outside of our normal income before we hit the road. While freelance writing is a great way to make extra income, I just want to give you a few things to keep in mind if you're interested in finding freelance writing gigs from the road.
Other things we talk about in this episode: Keeping a list of ideas to pitch The beginning stages of creating content Starting rate for writing gigs Links:Dine, Wine & Stein Magazine
