Is diet and exercise enough to be healthy? No, we will be healthy when our thoughts are filled with good vibes. If our mind is filled with thoughts of failure, insecurities, self doubt, worries of every kind then our hearts will project the energy of fear. Our bodies at the cellular level, simply cannot live well in a fearful environment. The cells break down. It can be different for each person but it is still cellular damage. When our thoughts 'change' and are high and lifted up, encouraging our hearts then our bodies just follow suit. We need a diet of positive, truthful, loving and kind thoughts. We need to exercise our focused intentions on what is lovely, of a good report, praise worthy and peaceful. Then dis-ease (lack of) (rest) will have no where to land. This meditation is designed to usher us into peace and rest.
