Rafa Benitez’s side remain winless and in the Premier League’s bottom three, but a point from a difficult away trip to south London is not a bad return.

The home side hit the post through James Tomkins, while Mamadou Sakho also missed an open goal during the second period, but United held on to earn a point in front of their owner.
