The Supreme Court of India recently scrapped Section 497 of Indian Penal Code,thereby decriminalising adultery and Amber Rana is back in the studio to discuss the importance of this decision. He takes us through the history and scope of Section 497 and the time when adultery was first recognized as an offence. He also explains how this section made women a property of men.
